Renée made the jump from Track & Field into the sport of Triathlon in 2014, after having met Barb Lindquist back in 2009. A successful runner, Renée opted to take her speed off the track into the realm of multisport. With an extensive age-group swimming background, her CRP (Collegiate Recruitment Program) coach Jarrod Evans successfully taught Renée the findamenals on the bike in order to meet the demands of competition at the highest level of ITU competition. She has 3 victories to her name, two at the World Cup level and 1 at the Continental Cup level, along with a number of podium and top-5 finishes at all levels, including WTS. Still developing as a professional triathlete, Renée's current focus is long term: Tokyo 2020.
Outside of sport, Renée has professional experience in creating social media content for clients on Twitter, Facebook and in blog format. With a Masters in Linguistics with a concentration in Language and Communication, Renée is educated and trained in stakeholder communications and messaging. She has worked on projects for Canon Solutions America, Johnson & Johnson and NIKE. Renée is fluent in English, French, German and proficient in Spanish.
